Silver Jeans is part of the Canadian family business Western Glove Works, which has been crafting quality denim since 1921 — so four whole generations.

The label’s history
After founding the company Western Glove Works in 1921, the first generation of the Silver family set out to produce leather and denim workwear. On top of that, the company started to craft denim for the private labels of the top denim brands. This is where Michael Silver discovered the demand for high-quality denim with an impeccable fit and decided to found the label Silver Jeans Co. to branch into what was a niche at that time.
In 1991, the unisex model ‘Frisco’ was created and went on to be sold over two million times. Today, the jeans are shipped from Winnipeg all-across the globe to over 30 countries, from North America to Europe to South America and Australia. The label has established global recognition.
CEO Michael Silver describes the company’s expertise as craftsmanship and sees each pair of denims as a piece of art. His passion along with the passion of the whole company is to create a product that is made to outlast trends, while always being stylish.
