Triangle
Masters of casual, chic, Triangle create collections that are easy to wear and easy to combine, making them our go-to for downtime dressing. Producing stylish, understated designs like the perfect long line cardigan and soft, silky blouse, the premium plus size label puts a strong focus on beautifully crafted fabrics and contemporary, yet classic cuts.
The brand’s beginnings
Triangle was originally launched to meet the needs of the large percentage of women in Europe who are not the same sizes as the models seen at fashion week, but of course still want and deserve access to beautiful clothes. They are now available internationally enabling plus size women around the world to feel fabulous in their designs. As you get older your body changes making it difficult to find the clothes you really want. Therefore Triangle set out to create a label women felt confident in and met their wardrobe needs.
The anniversary collection
In 2016, to celebrate the anniversary of Triangle becoming an independent brand they created a special collection made up entirely of fine, signature, washed wool. Which of course is an interesting choice, but a clever one too when you think boiled wool is not only lightweight to wear, but also long-lasting and adaptable to all seasons. The range consisted of five of the label’s favourite pieces reworked: a casual poncho coat, pencil skirt, a sleeveless, tailored jacket and a dress and jumper with mandarin collar and statement kimono sleeves. In an autumnal palette of stone grey and smoky blue, the collection was an instant fashion hit.
Hero denim
From slim fit to bootcut, Triangle jeans are crafted to sculpt and shape your curves. Using the softest denim with just the right amount of stretch, the label puts a strong focus on delivering the perfect fit. There are various cuts to choose from too depending on your preference. Bootcut styles are great for adding extra inches to your legs, while Triangle’s boyfriend jeans boast the perfect amount of slouch and will quickly become part of your weekend uniform. If you like your jeans to feel a little on the dressier side we suggest opting for a coated finish -it feels a little more polished. Or if relaxed is more your thing, they’re plenty of distressed styles to choose from.
What inspires the label?
Triangle’s inspiration for each collection comes from both international fashion shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris and their creative team who make it their mission to unleash the inner-stylista in each of their customers.
The new range
This season sees Triangle showcase some of the catwalk’s hottest trends. Say ahoy to sailor chic with seafaring stripes, navy blazers and polka dot blouses or indulge your sporty side with patterned bomber jackets and luxe trackie bottoms. At the shows it was clear there’s still only one number one body hot spot to show off right now and that’s of course your shoulders. So the label’s off the shoulder denim top is a wardrobe no-brainer. We also love their pretty peasant tops which channel the season’s bohemian spirit.
"We make fashion that feels good, looks good and gives us the feeling of being unique."
